Juli Ulm, Saddle Fitting Clinic
Juli Ulm will be conducting a saddle fitting clinic in Myrtle Creek on June 13th. She is known by many for her expertise and passion for resolving behavioral and physical issues stemming from improper saddle fit. Juli was the daughter of a trainer who grew up with an intense love for horses and spent many years training as well. It was during those years that she became aware of the impact a poorly fitted saddle can have on behavior and physical development. Driven by her devotion to horses and horsemanship, as well as a desire to see horses and their owners thrive, she began her education in proper saddle fit. Nine years later she is now considered to be a respected expert on the subject and we are delighted to have her share her knowledge with us as she assists us in gaining the skills to successfully assess and fit our own horses. She offers her services as a saddle fitter and teaches her techniques at public equine events, private equine clubs, and at a one on one level with private horse owners. She also conducts clinics throughout the year at her ranch in Lebanon Oregon. Juli is the co-owner of Painted Hills Ranch and has been training horses and developing communication between horses and their owners for many years at this beautiful Willamette Valley location. Juli has recently retired from training and, by devoting herself entirely to saddle fitting, is continuing to endeavor with passion to improve the comfort and performance of the horses she loves and has dedicated her life’s work to.
